What Is the Youth Mobility Scheme?
The Youth Mobility Scheme (YMS) is a visa category under the UK's points-based immigration system. Previously known as the Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme, it allows young adults from participating countries to live and work in the UK for up to 24 months. Unlike other UK visa categories, the YMS does not require sponsorship from an employer, making it a flexible option for both visa holders and potential employers.
